Kanlahi Festival

Celebrate the Spirit of Tarlac at Kanlahi Festival!

Experience the Kanlahi Festival, Tarlac’s grand celebration of unity, culture, and heritage! Held annually every first week of March, this vibrant event features street dances, parades, music, and traditional showcases that honor the province’s diverse roots. Meaning "Heirs of the Earth," Kanlahi highlights the resilience and pride of Tarlaqueños.

From thrilling competitions to colorful cultural performances, the festival offers a dynamic tribute to Tarlac’s rich history—a must-experience for every visitor!

Ylang-Ylang Festival

Ilang-Ilang also spelled Ylang-Ylang Festival, is the yearly festival of the flower called “ ilang-ilang ” and founding anniversary in the municipality of Anao in the province of Tarlac.

It is held in every March 16th which is declared as araw ng Anao and as the official hymn of the town in 2000. His lyrics was written by Avelin Conde- Ramos and music by Romeo L. Ramiterre.

Bamban Town Fiesta

Bamban, Tarlac, celebrates its Town Fiesta on the last Saturday of January in honor of Santo Niño. The festivities include a grand float parade, street dancing competitions, cultural performances, and an agri-trade fair showcasing local products. A highlight of the event is the carabao racing competition held during Farmers' Day, reflecting the town’s strong agricultural roots. Another notable celebration is the Dap-Dap Fiesta, held on the second Sunday of December in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This religious event features processions, community gatherings, and various festivities that strengthen faith and unity among residents.

Iniruban and Chicharon Festival

A cultural and food festival that takes place in the week of October. It celebrates Camiling’s “one town, one product” of Bagnet and Iniruban , a sweet native cake. Iniruban and Chicharon Festival considered the oldest festival in the province of Tarlac considered the oldest festival in the province of Tarlac launched 2000.

As its name comes from rice cake called “Iniruban” and deep-fried pork’s rinds called “chicharon”. Iniruban is also called “duduman”, “iniruban”, “nilubyan”, or “inlubi”. Its main ingredients is burnt rice grains.

Chicharon also called “Bagnet” by folks outside of the town, chicharon is a delicacy of the town that is it also referred to as Chicharon Camiling. A fried pork belly that is often matched with bagoong (krill or shrimp paste) and aromatics.

Capas Town Fiesta

The Capas Town Fiesta is an annual celebration that takes place on September 9-10 in Capas, Tarlac.

The festival includes a parade, competitors, social events, and a coronation night. Capas is known as the “Tourism Capital of Tarlac”. The Festival has also included launch of the Capas Walking Street, a food park that features street foods.

Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary

The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is a significant religious event celebrated annually on December 8 in Concepcion, Tarlac, in honor of the town’s patroness, the Immaculate Conception. The celebration is deeply rooted in the town’s history and faith, with the Immaculate Conception Parish Church, established in 1863, serving as the focal point of the festivities. The day begins with solemn Masses, grand processions, and novenas, where devotees gather to express their faith and gratitude.

Beyond religious observances, the town also organizes cultural performances, local fairs, and community gatherings, creating a festive atmosphere that strengthens local traditions and camaraderie. Residents actively participate in various activities, showcasing their devotion and pride in their heritage.

Carabao Festival

The Carabao Festival in Concepcion, Tarlac, is an annual celebration honoring the carabao’s vital role in agriculture. The highlight of the festival is the carabao parade, where farmers showcase their decorated carabaos, some performing symbolic kneeling before the town church as a gesture of gratitude. Festivities include cultural performances, street dancing, and the exciting carabao cart race, where farmers compete in a test of speed and skill. Beyond entertainment, the festival reflects the town’s deep appreciation for its agricultural heritage, promoting the values of hard work, perseverance, and gratitude. It is a vibrant showcase of Concepcion’s culture and traditions, attracting both locals and visitors alike.

Silawan Festival

In 2007, “ Silawan Festival was launched to celebrate and express gratitude for the blessings and diligence of the lantern makes in the town of Gerona. His celebrated annually from the 20th to 25th of November, coinciding with town’s fiesta in honor of the “ Patron Saint Catherine Alexandria”. Silawan is an Ilocano word meaning “ illuminate”. This festival symbolizes the light that guides every Gerona towards better path.

La Paz Town Fiesta

The town fiesta in LaPaz, Tarlac, celebrates the Patron Saint Nuestra Senora de Lapaz Y Buen Viaje. The town history includes a flood that destroyed an earlier settlement and the town’s role in the Philippines Revolution. The town was originally a barrio of Tarlac until 1892, when it became a separate town is a popular destination for pilgrims seeking miracles.

Mayantoc Town Fiesta

The Mayantoc Town Fiesta is an annual celebration in Mayantoc, Tarlac, held in March in honor of the town's patron saint, San Vicente Ferrer. Kamote Festival

Moncada Tarlac Celebrated of the sweet taste of Kamote, It is tastement to the town’s resilience and it’s deep connection to the humble sweet potato. The Paniqui Town Fiesta was celebrating form March 11-18. The Town of Paniqui, Tarlac celebrated an annual Farmer’s Day and Parade of Tractors to celebrate harvests and promote agriculture. The event also includes for the best decorated hand tractors.

Panagyaman Festival

According to the festivalscape the Panagyaman Festival is a rice festival in the municipality of Pura, Tarlac, it happens in every second Sunday of March. This Annual event is an expression of gratitude of their town, particularly as a town-wide cultural outlet to says thanks to the townsfolk who worked tirelessly towards the progress and development of the town.

Tarlakauyan Festival

The TarlaKauayan Festival is an annual event inaugurated in September 2024 in Tarlac, Philippines, to celebrate Philippine Bamboo Month and promote the province's bamboo industry. Ramos Town Fiesta

The Municipality of Ramos, Tarlac celebrates its founding anniversary on the first Monday of January. The town was formerly called “Bani” and was barrio of Paniqui until it becomes its town in 1921. Buyboy (Tiger Grass) Festival

The Buyboy Festival in San Clemente, Tarlac, is an annual celebration held on the last weekend of April to honor the town’s thriving tiger grass (buyboy) industry, which is essential for producing high-quality soft brooms (walis tambo). Established in 2008, the festival showcases the town’s craftsmanship and cultural heritage through street dancing, trade fairs, and cultural performances, with participants incorporating tiger grass into their costumes and displays. Mais Festival

The Mais Festival in San Manuel, Tarlac celebrates the town’s corn quality and its held annually form February 19-25, with the theme” Sulong pa Bagong San Manuel”. The town is known for having the best corn in the country.

Kanibon Festival
